This year Sugarbash takes another giant step. They have selected to unite with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Why? The answer is simple. Both Sugarbash and JDRF share a single-minded focus – to find a cure for diabetes through the support of research.

Sugarbash and JDRF depend on the commitment of volunteers, a key factor in their efficiency. In a typical year, more than 80% of all expenses support research and education. For such effectiveness,The American Institute of Philanthropy has given JDRF an “A” rating, the highest ranking of any national diabetes organization. In its annual rating of 200 nonprofit organizations, Forbes magazine chose JDRF one of its top 10 “picks that shine.” The rating was one of a number JDRF has received over the past few years, all underscoring the organization’s industry-leading efficiency and effectiveness in funding research leading to a cure for diabetes.
